Subject: [Leica] Book of Optics

A few nights ago was researching the Imax format as I am lucky enough to
live by an Imax theater so I have that option and I really didn't know what
it was. Its more than a couple of things.
While doing so on the Wiki site I came upon some optical references.
One was this:
Book of Optics
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_of_Optics
Written by Alhazen
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibn_al-Haytham
An Arab man.

" Ibn al-Haytham has been called the "father of modern optics",[1] the
"pioneer of the modern scientific method,"[2] and the founder of
experimental physics,[3] and for these reasons he has been described as the
"first scientist."[4]"

An amazing story. He did has best work while locked up pretending to be
crazy as he feared for his life as he was expected to control the tides of
the Nile.
Sounds better than Man of La Mancha to me.

I was apparently out of school sick the day they taught this guy.

... The minute you think you know everything...!
