If your book came out as a circle then you'd have to call the book "square
pegs".

I imagine a circle shaped book might present binding issues.

The very first "Kodak" took one hundred pre-loaded circular pictures.
2 1?2 inches in diameter. That was 1888.
And 1888 was a banner year for circles of all kinds.
