Hi Jim,

will do.  The critter that's eating our cabbages is the cabbage white 
butterfly.  They lay dozens of eggs on the underside of the leaves of 
brassicas and the caterpillars wreak havoc!  The only thing that seems 
to do more damage are wood pigeons- but then we have our cabbages netted 
to keep these devils off!
