 I too thought that Leica-R  prices were, in fact, falling fairly rapidly. 
As examples I have seen near mint 100 Apos for around $ 1100,  90 Summicrons 
for under $ 400.  Perhaps some of the esoteric lenses are  holding their 
values?

As for deals, a German dealer is clearing out the last stocks of leica R at 
very reasonable prices. A brand new 35-70 R zoom with full 3 year warranty 
was  around  $ 800 a couple of months ago.
