A personality is a person (the complex of
characteristics that distinguishes an individual,
the totality of an individual's behavioral and
emotional characteristics, a set of distinctive
traits and characteristics, etc) lacking a body.

I'm trying to remember where I first heard or
read that since I don't consider myself capable
of an original thought. Nietzsche poking fun at
the Christians likely. Christians use Christ's
resurrection as proof that personality isn't
destroyed after death, a twist on what really
happens I think. Personalities are a vehicle by
which we can remember people. Else we would
forget people as we would a shopping list. In
that sense personality survives as the body rots
in the earth. Although some people should have
there personality buried as well
