Thanks, Tina. I don't know about the professional part, but I definitely
accept the heavy portion <g>.

What I have found this year is that I'm shooting a lot more than ever, and
enjoying it more than ever. A big difference is processing my own b/w film,
and then scanning. It's like a treasure hunt! Very often, what seemed
great at the time isn't so hot upon scanning--but the reverse it often true
as well.

Jim

You are a heavy professional, Jim, you're just not making any money
from your photos ;-) . BUT YOU SHOULD BE!! A book, a website, a
documentary project with lots of grants. You've proven that you
don't need an M8 but when your photography becomes a money-making
proposition instead of a money-draining hobby, you might
reconsider. You don't have to, of course. You can stay with film
and we'll still love everything you show us, but digital would be so,
so much easier and cheaper for you. When the M9 comes out, I may
have a well-used M8 for sale ;-)

Tina
