The owner of The Camera Shop in Bryn Mawr, PA told me that they were having
a special event on Wednesday, September 9th from 3PM to 7PM in the
afternoon.

 

A Leica rep will be present with a new piece of equipment.   They did not
say what it is, but they did say that it is NOT the S2.

 

However, keep in mind that the date is 09 09 09.  That should be a hint.
