I got not a super duper one as I had to update my cs3 suite to cs4 and get a
one tet hard drive and some other stuff.
I now have this
  MacBookPro5,5
  Processor Name:    Intel Core 2 Duo
  Processor Speed:    2.26 GHz
  Number Of Processors:    1
  Total Number Of Cores:    2
  L2 Cache:    3 MB
  Memory:    4 GB

Its a heck of a lot faster than my powerbook g4 which had the old processor.
I can go 2+2=4 on a pocket calculator faster than it can.

I don't know what a core is.
But I'm glad I have two of them. Its good to have a spare anything.
