Subject: [Leica] Elmaron 60mm f/2.8 in a Helicoid Focusing mount?

Thanks guys! It's just that with all of the posts I've seen in other
forums about using lenses like these for macro work, I was wondering if
it would work for me. Given how low the price is, I'm tempted to get the
lens anyway. So what's the real thread size of the enlarging lenses from
Leica? I thought everyone used the M39 as the mounting standard.

Additionally, you should know that I'm using this lens *on a digital
CCTV camera with a 1/3" chip*. I think that combination will wind up
only using the center of the lens' projected image. So if there was a
concern about uniform sharpness or illumination across a 35mm frame,
that doesn't apply here.

Thanks again,
