Yes.
It's very possible.
The how to with "standard lenses"
would require that you define "standard"

example:
50mm lux asph on viso = image length of 33 mm at infinity and 29 mm  
at closest focus

Many lenses, tubes, bellows, adapters
could be combined to achieve perfect 1:1.
