That's exactly the lens I asked for to try with my new M9, but they 
didn't bring one!  I borrowed the new 24 instead.  I used the 18 at the 
workshop in Virginia and loved it.  That will be my next lens.  In the 
meantime - I used the M9 all day in the pouring rain.  It got drenched 
and the viewfinder fogged up.  I was worried for awhile because my M8s 
didn't fog up under the same circumstances.  I dried the M9 out in front 
of the car heater and the viewfinder cleared up after about 20 minutes.  
Since I couldn't see through it, I used hyperfocal focusing until the 
viewfinder cleared.  The photos look fine except for the raindrops on 
the lens!!
