When you open an M8 10.3 Mbyte RAW file in photoshop you have:
a 29 Mbyte image file in 8 bit rgb
a 59 Mbyte image file in 16 bit rgb
a 39 Mbyte image file in 8 bit cmyk
a 79 Mbyte image file in 16 bit cmyk
and those numbers are without any interpolation.

The stock photo agencies are concerned with cmyk for high quality
print applications
