No AF lags etc,. not "faster" in the sense of light gathering capabilities. ----- Original Message ---- From: Mark Rabiner <mark at rabinergroup.com> To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Thu, November 12, 2009 10:59:21 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] Links for X-1 Luminous Landscape and Reid Review's Reviews > Does sensor size has anything to do with it? Well if your saying your Panasonic is faster than a Leica x1 and wondering why bring up sensor size well the sensor size is many times different in size not just 2 or three. So you can say a Leica is several times "faster" than a Speed Graphic 4x5 but In many ways its beside the point. As the formats are leagues away no ones all that worried about it. Sure you have to cock the shutter every time you shoot a sheet of film but in the context of the quality your getting you just don't care its well worth it. An X1 you can set on 3200 maybe even use it at it. A point and shoot of the normal vein like your Panasonic you're not going above 400 if that.
