For all those overworked understaffed newspaper types will take note
of this story
from Monday's Peterborough(Ontario) Examiner. It seems the annual
Santa Claus
parade was taking place and the veteran staff photographer, which are
few and far
these days, was assigned to take some photos. During the parade of
marching bands,
Santa Claus and assorted floats, the photographer shot one float in
particular. This
was from the local Catholic High School and may have been done
without permission of the
School or school board. The float was a hot tub on a trailer with
students in it. When it approched the photographer the male student
leaped up in a school sports jersey and multicoloured, multicheckered
boxer shorts. This picture appeared on the front page of the paper,
on the Canadian Press wire service and a Toronto commuter morning
paper. While the Catholic school
board trustees were outraged, the biggest problem with the photo that
was missed was
that the students penis was hanging out! Newspaper cuts mean everyone
missed the problem.
