Been there.
Done that.
and
Will again
before this winter
becomes spring.

I still remember
when I thought it was "fun."
x-country skiing
snow caves
and all.

But those memories dim
the cold feels more brutal
the snow heavier
with every passing year
once we stop
playing in it.
