Subject: [Leica] IMG: Warm Spot on a Cold Day
From: jhnichols at lighttube.net (Jim Nichols)

With overnight lows in the teens (deg F), and daytime highs in the lower
20s, I decided to look for indoor subjects. The fireplace was the favorite
location for the day, and I had never had much luck photographing it. After
futile attempts at AE with the flickering flames, I decided to explore
manual exposure on the E-1. This was the best of several exposures, made
with various ISO and shutter speed combinations.

Details: E-1 with 50/1.4 Takumar, ISO 200, 1/30 at f/2.8, RAW, PSE 6.0

Comments and critiques welcomed.
