Hi,
I agree that a competition for the cover would put an additional burden on
Jim who is already doing a great service to the group by producing the book.
Also, I think a competition undermines the whole spirit of the book which
is open to all group members. As far as the cover goes, personally I'd be
happy to see a shot of any vintage Leica in any condition from prestine to
"user" as the cover shot each year. Perhaps members who would like to do so
could include a shot of (one of) their Leica(s) along with their submission
of two photos for the book. Jim could then pick whatever one strikes his
fancy for the cover.
I'm eagerly awaiting the delivery of my copy.
Bob

Hi friends,

Personnally I don't dislike the cover of the book, it would be a very
difficult deicision for Jim choose a precise picture, IMHO it's a
continuity of the previous years, the cover has showed something like
a symbol for us, if this year the election is the M9 I think is a very
good idea, the M9 represents a great step on the mariage of the
rangefoinder and digital world.

Saludos cordiales
Lluis
