She's frequently the subject of editorials here. The attempted Y2K bomber 
did try to enter the US via ferry boat from here. He was caught by US 
Customs and subsequently convicted.

 

Rex Murphy of the CBC did an editorial piece on television wrt her thought's 
on the security of the US Canada border. He also did this one on the 
underpant's bomber which is a couple of minutes long and well worth a look.
