Just one of those quirks of linguistic fate.  A few years ago, I was 
told by an old lady that she thought I looked particularly "gay"...as in 
carefree or happy (I hope/think).

Anyway, I always enjoy the Friday flower shots. Pansies are one of my 
favourite flowers.
