In the early sixties, during undergraduate days in Iowa City, I (and
my MGA) shared a garage with a friend who owned an Alfa Romeo
Guilletta (sp?) Spyder Veloce.  Like most Alfas of that time it was
"one of only six special bodied cars of its type ever made"  <g>  and
it was absolutely wonderful, particularly  on our all night drives up
to the race track in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.  Even if it had no
heater.  And wouldn't start if you parked it in the shade or near a
puddle.

Those were the days.
