That's right. With the M9, you can manually select the lens from a menu, but 
it's a hassle to do and I only remember to do it about once out of 10 times 
I change a lens. I'm most conscious about choosing the lens when it's a wide 
angle - particularly the 21mm, which really needs the correction due to 
vignetting.
