Hey, now we have the start for a good picture critique discussion (with
Tina's consent of course). What doesn't work for you in this one, Nathan?
I was especially impressed with how the circle of children and chickens seem
to be all looking to the mother for support (sustenance) All of the clutter
decribes the environment for me.
This one doesn't have the strong dramatic darks of my all time favourite
Tina photos in our shared book.  But it tells the story very well for my
eyes. The woman looking out of frame suggests more challenge and work for
her as well.

Not meant to just be a gratuitious ad for the book, it's just if anyone else
interested would like to look at some more of Tina's work. I've set the
preview  now so anyone can see all of the pictorial content in there.
