Subject: [Leica] Help wanted deciding which film to use...

Hi y'all. I am probably going to shoot Salton Sea this weekend with the
XPan, and thus I need some advice re: film.

This is TMAX-400, but in 6x7:

I will also have my Mamiya 7II with ~10 rolls of TMY-2.

This is Tri-X

Some are 35mm, some are XPan
I like the tonality, but of course the grain is Tri-X, which I may go ahead
and use anyway.

This is FP4+, I tried it because it's ISO 125, which should be smoother than
Tri-X

It does seem smoother than Tri X but does the mid tones look a bit too...
hmm.. something, just not as distinct as it could be?

I may do both scan and digital print and darkroom print, any preferences?
