It reminds of Essex;   ordering "sweet cider and a dry one" and being 
delivered dry wine by the lovely barmaid ... she'd won, leaving me ' 
whoining ' ...


Triple Karmelit is my current favourite BTW

 In Leeds, where I grew up, if you ordered a pint of "Mild & Bitter" you 
would very probably be served it in two half-pint glasses.

You only got what you wanted if you ordered a pint of "Mixed".
