I bought one for my 35 'lux based on Nathan and other's recommendation. They
do work quite well.

The profile is a bit bigger than the Leica one so I bought a replacement cap
from Popflash (2nd or 3rd time I lost the cap/hood, but this time I still
have the cap) for $25, and this time I taped the hood more securely on the
lens, and it works fine even during hiking.

I am a fan of builtin- hood, although I do forget to extend them, but I am
also a fan of using filters (my 35 'lux would be in pieces by now if two
filters did not sacrifice themselves at two different incidents) so your
mileage may vary.
