Couple of my failures were bad hardware types (long stories) so recovery, if
at all, would be the clean room scrape bits off type, meaning around $4000+,
and you won't know what bits you can get back.

That was one reasons why I was shooting Mamiya 7II for landscape and not
looking at digital options for that type of work. That is until 2 months
ago...
