>From an underwater perspective, Nikon's sport finders for the F2, -3, and -4
locked that niche market up for Nikon back in the day. I've used an FM2
underwater in an Ikelite housing with Ike's magnifier and it was ok. Using
the F4 with a sportsfinder was a completely different- and satisfactory-
experience in an Aquatica housing. In speaking with Hugh today and showing
him my new housing, I mentioned my wish that the new DSLR's had modular
finders. When one factors in a dive mask and regulator relief, there is no
way one can see the finder in its entirety. There is, of course, the
additional finder the housing comapnies are more than willing to sell the
U/W shooter. Grrrr.

On a Leica note, Hugh's M3 certainly has a better, brighter, and easier to
focus finder than does my .85 M6.
