Huh?
Cosmic radiation goes right through AL. Gold would stop it, but gold foil,
even to protect Leica images, is a bit of overkill.....
I won't ask about the Al foil hat I presume you wear to protect your
brain.....

that's one huge advantage to aluminm foil over saran wrap....
