Since you are in Germany, perhaps you may like to speak directly with the customer service people at Solms? Looking at a map you could walk out your door and go directly south for a few hundred kilometers ;-) I am sending you offlist a copy of the form to send with your lens because we cannot attach files to LUG messages. Of course you can just telephone or email them if you like. You can ask for an estimate if the cost will exceed an amount that you set. Depending on what needs to be done to your Elmarit of course you would have to decide if the costs were acceptable. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your work.
