In using the Panasonic GF1 with the Pana 14-45mm zoom lens, in auto mode,

how useful is the electronic viewfinder to comfortable, reliable function ?

(especially if one likes viewfinders, and compared to a 40mm optical 
viewfinder with interpolation/extrapolation ?)
