I agree with Tarek,

Yet, 'n'est-ce pas' is a scarcely used form nowadays, and considered  
as formal; lecturers - bad ones particulalry - use it a lot to remind  
their sleepy? audience of their existence ...  :-)

In everyday talk, you'll hear : hein?, pas vrai?, tu crois pas? etc.  
just as the British might resort to ennit, wudniah, didny, etc.

BTW saying ' *n'c'est pas* ' as first suggested would probably be  
construed as ' j'n'sai pas  = je ne sais pas', i.e I don't know or  
rather, dunno.
