Out walking at lunchtime on a rare sunny day, with a G1 and 20/1.7. This 
"Shulmanesque" scene appeared:

Yeah, I just picked up a used G1. The price was right, and I wanted to 
try live view. I'd heard that the eye-level viewfinder was very 
eyeglasses-friendly, and it is.  The G1 is a very different camera than 
an M or a DSLR, takes some getting used to. It's no M, but I have to 
say, this 20/1.7 lens is *very* good. This could be the "take anywhere" 
digital camera I've been looking for. And I can use my Leica and OM 
lenses on it!
