I the darkroom those days the one roll of the Kodak printed real poorly.
I think the Kodak had an orange base so was not even meant of the black and
white darkroom. Everybody I knew used  the xp2 which was and is just an
amazing film.
But with  a good scanner I doubt it makes much difference.
A good scanner can deal with just about anything. Except really dense slides
but I got the impression silver film was no problem now.
