Not much discounting on the M8 until the 8.2 was released. Same story for the 8.2. I think there are a lot of people who made a decision to not buy a digital M lens Leica until a FF model was released as the M9. That is what I decided to do when the M8 was announced by Leica. Waited and glad I did. I'm guessing the wait for significant lower prices for the M9 will continue until an M10 is amnnounced.
