I'll take the whole business off your hands. OR -- get a WEIN cell. No
adapter. The WEIN is made to replace the old mercury battery and is NOT 1.5
volt but 1.4 that burns down to 1.35 I think -- or else it starts at 1.35, I
can't remember -- in any case, 1.35 V being what the meter thinks your
driving it with. Thus the error.

but it might be another size... there is much info on this on the internet
to be searched -- ie. the right size. I had them, used them, still do in
fact, one size in a Minolta Hi-Matic 7 (pocketable fixed lens 40mm fabulous
little thing) and a different size for my CL which I no longer have due to
an unfortunate incident...

I think the 675 is the right size but as I say, check around first.

I bet you'll have a closer meter reading.
