Subject: [Leica] OT: Raw converters

It's not for me! This piece of software is for someone who really  
knows how to tweak things. Two problems for me:
1) There is no immediate feed-back - when you slide (most of) the  
cursors, you have to refresh the image to see the change. That's a  
deal breaker for me.
2) The learning edge is steep (or maybe I lack the patience today).  
You really need the manual to understand the many buttons and controls.

The one on the left is the picture developped with RPP the one in the  
middle with Aperture. Forgive the Whitebalance, I couldn't get RPP to  
give me a 5500K. The last one is the original DNG.

I have the impression that RPP gives cleaner shadows and that's  
something I really like. Unfortunately the handling is too complicated  
to make it my developper of choice... ymmv.
