Heard from who and compared to what?
The internet is filled with idiots try talking so someone in your neck of
the woods and meet them at a starbucks and have them show you their prints
as they tell you all their BS.
I know other people who ahve a negitial approach to printing (as in they
don't do it or got dragged into it screaming) because of the rip off
expendables issue. Its baloney.
An inkjet print cost dollars. Not pennies.
As a darkroom printer you know what a sheet of double weight fiber paper
cost. Dektol. Rapid fix. Selenium. Water.
Inkjet prints cost about the same.
But not darkroom paper was ever 100% rag.
The mat board you'd mount it on would be.
But the paper itself had wood fiber in it.
