I have been following Vincent Laforet's blogging
(http://blog.vincentlaforet.com/) about his use of the 5D Mk2 for
making movies, and to be honest up until now I have had neither
interest in nor full understanding of why one would want to use what I
think of as a still camera to make 'movies' when there are so many
'movie' cameras already out there.

I think I am now finally starting to get it.

I expect I will stick with my still cameras for making still
photographs, but I have nothing but admiration for these folks who are
pioneering new ways to tell stories.
