For myself and my wife, Facebook would add no value to our lives.  We 
have friends who have said we really should be on Facebook, as if it's 
some sort of life changing experience.  I'd rather meet my friends 
face-to-face and have a beer or share a bottle of wine with them.

My neighbours are like Tina, using Facebook to find out what their son 
and daughter are up to.
