Wonderful behind-the-scenes documentary, Bryan.

Deepest sympathy on the rebellious gearbox, and I'll look for you next year
and hope for something other than DNF. While living in Germany in 1979-82, I
attended Le Mans twice and will never forget the heady atmosphere and some
magical aspects of the whole experience. One of these took place after the
race: stopping at a service area on the Autoroute back toward Germany, I
pulled up next to a Ferrari 512BB in the parking space to its right and, as
if that were not exciting enough to a car nut like me, as I exited my
vehicle, I spotted on the passenger seat of the 512 a racing helmet and pair
of Nomex gloves...a truly eloquent montage, bespeaking a warrior on his way
home from battle.

Maybe next year I'll make it back.
