They have been around for a while.  I was thinking more of contact 
printing re the 30's.  With a bare light bulb wrapped with Kleenex.  And 
Amidol and black fingernails.  I have a good friend here who only 
contact prints, but it is with a Nuarc burner or a special UV unit and 
feedback timer etc. for pt/pd.  Here is how I used the tubes.
