I noticed it for the first time
on the Memphis ABANA shoot.
Bright white background
a silver umbrella as a side light near edge of frame on right.
It shocked me.
Didn't show up on a recent portrait session.
But reared it's ugly head again on the latest chandelier shots,
with lit bulbs (properly exposed) in the frame.

Different size sensors may have a different affect.
Camera baffle designs?
I haven't tried to duplicate the anomaly in the 5D.
I should do so.
