I'm pretty sensitive to the subject of 21 mm lenses. The first 21 I didn't buy was an M4 and an 21 SA f4 with finder for $500 back in 1985.? I spent the money on a Kaypro computer, if you can imagine. Fast forward to when Voigtlander/Cosina introduced those midget 21 lenses.? I bought one and liked it. A little later, I had a chance to make a bargain on a 21 Elmarit 2.8 pre-asph as part of a batch of gear, and promptly sold it to GeeBee, because it is such a big lens. Two years ago, I found a 21 Super Angulon? f3.4 with a little haze in it for real cheap.? I sent it to DAG, and he cleaned it right up, and its a right nice lens.? I'm learning to use it, especially now that I'm shooting more film.? It is more fun with film than with the M8. There's a nice discussion on these old fellows in the Tom Abrahamsson section of RFF ?I kept the teeny VC 21 until just recently, and I gave it to a young friend who need such a lens. Back to Rab's subject, I was looking at my lens list, and it is not too exotic.? I have fun with them though. 15mm Voigtl?nder,? 21mm Super-Angulon f4,??28mm Elmarit asph,? 35mm Summicron asph,?40mm Summicron C (shows 35mm frames), 50mm DR Summicron (fixed for M8),?75 mm Summarit, 90mm Elmar C, 90mm Tele-Elmarit.
