Subject: [Leica] Disk failure?

It is virtually impossible to tell what the fault is without the computer in 
front of a tech....

But my guess is that there is no connector fault.  Most likely a problem 
with internal timing commands in the electronics that drift out of spec with 
high temps.....and thus get "confused"....

Tough it out, get a cooler ( Laptop?  use a base cooler or a metal plat 
under the computer) , or otherwise use something else until the temps cool 
down.....  another cheap fix is a $100 room air conditioner.... but I digress

Temp problems are really tought to work around in electronics, and few 
understand the issues.....

Less understand the solutions....
