Subject: [Leica] WTB: 250mm R lens or something close

Last Sunday at a Myopia Polo outing North of Boston, a drunk stumbled over
my R8/DMR/250mm f4 tripod setup and sent the lot crashing to the ground.
(Leica's quote for repair comes to $875.) The 250 will not come back in
three weeks when I'll need it for a Sri Lanka trip. Does anyone have a
250/280 or similar that will mount on an R8 that I could buy? I don't care
about cosmetics/boxes, etc so long as the glass is clean and the focusing
ring turns smoothly. And of course it's in focus at the stated markings.
