Subject: [Leica] What do I think?

I think it is good propaganda but despite the excellent pictures it is no
more a documentary than "Triumph of the Will." It supports a philosophy at
odds with all western religions. Christians, Jews and Moslems all include
meat as part of their diet. If God didn't intend us to eat meat, we would
not have been born with incisor and canine teeth. Jane Goodall's chimps ate
meat despite the fact that she denied it. The vegetarian squirrels in my
yard sit on their haunches and eat sun dried worms after every heavy rain.
The Bible mentions meat eating 731 times, often at a feast. The entree at
the Last Supper was paschal lamb.

George Lottermoser rote:

I'm one who believes that photographers, writers and filmmakers

should have an opinion and let me know what it is in their work.

There are many good photographers on this list, and I would be

interested to know how some of you feel about this imagery if

time permits.

Thanks,

Montie
