An interesting and perhaps subtle distinction
between many over saturated (subjective opinion of course) images
and your heavily saturated color photographs:
You, Ric, visually convince me that you actually look for and see color in 
this way.
You certainly ride the edge, yet the subjects (as you present them) seem 
real;
you're literally, visually talking about the color; so I get it.

Others, as in this case, simply distract my attention by presenting 
unnatural color.
The "color saturation" in the original was (in my opinion) perfect for the 
subject.
