[Leica] "Leica Camera has already ceased production of film cameras."

  My first series M6 Titanium (the emu leather version) 
was bought new when it came out many moons ago when I 
had an unexpected windfall - but anything other than 
s/h Leicas are way out of my price bracket now.

Maybe my modest collection just increase in value ;-)

Of course the special edition MP and M7s  will continue 
to pour out in batches - the collectability of them is 
too much of a good deal for Leica to miss out on 
however they are priced.

I wonder what they will produce in 2014 - 100 years on 
from the Ur-Leica and 60 years on from the M3.

Lets wait and see what the boss has to say when he gets 
back from the far east.
