Subject: [Leica] Incredible iPad app for photographers

When I travel I need to keep up with literature and typically I end up
reading a dozen papers or more a day; I prefer the un-backlit Kindle
screen for reading.

But I am sure I'll spring for an iPad as soon as it has a camera in it
for video conferencing.  Like Nathan I travel with a Macbook or a
Macbook Pro, but one rarely discussed advantage of the iPad is that
the LCD screen in the iPad is vastly more useful for looking at or
editing photos than a conventional laptop screen because the gamma
changes much less with viewing angle.

 It's a lot lighter than a laptop or even a netbook, which is important to 
me.
