Yeah, this is a great divice! I use a TO-R on my APO-Telyt 1;2:8/280mm; a
great telescope this way.

There was recent (or still is?) a TO-R for sale on eBay .

No, the Solution for a practical use for our R lenses will be to reissue the
TOR (Telescope Ocular R)!
